Tuition fees

The costs of studies, accommodation in student hostel or university residence, life and health insurance, stipulated in US dollars, represent an approximate equivalent of the same amount in Russian national currency – Russian rubles. The actual price may be slightly adjusted on the date of issue of the invoice to pay the fees for tuition, accommodation and life and health insurance according to the actual US dollar exchange rate established by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Any excess payment of study fees will be automatically reimbursed to the payer's bank account from the beneficiary’s transit bank account (account in foreign currency). 

The above-mentioned fees for tuition, accommodation in a student hostel or a university residence, life and health insurance are valid for the current/next academic year.

Tuition fees for the Foundation course and for the first year of studies in French and English

Please, specify the cost of studies, accommodation in a student hostel or a university residence, life and health insurance, as well as the amount of other expenses, at the RACUS representative office in your country or in the central office in Saint Petersburg (Russia). The final cost depends on the fixed price of the service package in each country, which may include the cost of studies, accommodation in a student hostel or a university residence, life and health insurance, cost of flight tickets (international and domestic flights), visa fee, cost of translation of foreign educational and other documents into Russian, meeting of arriving students (in groups and individually) at Russian airports, university registration fees, as well as the cost of other services regulated by the contract.

Payment of the recognition fee

The fee for the procedure of recognition of foreign educational documents in order to obtain the "Certificate of Equivalence" mandatory for foreign applicants at "Rosobrnadzor" (organization affiliated to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation) is 6500 rubles (about 100 US dollars). Students prepare the set of documents necessary for obtaining the "Certificate of Equivalence" at their own expense within the period established by the University. 

Other expenses

During the initial application, the candidate is to effect a one-time payment of 300 US dollars to cover the expenses related to the issue of the invitation letter, its delivery to the applicant’s country of residence by the express delivery service (DHL or other), meeting the groups of students at the international airports of Moscow and Saint Petersburg, transfer to the domestic airport or to the Moscow railway station, meeting at the airport or at the railway station in the city of studies and transfer to the University, preparation of the documents necessary for the University admission, University registration fees etc. Flight tickets for the entire journey from the city of departure to the city where the University is located are additionally paid by the student. The average food expenses per month are about 250-300 US dollars in all Russian cities. Upon their first arrival to Russia, the students must have about 500 US dollars in cash in order to acquire some basic goods for personal use (clothing, utensils, household appliances, food, etc.)
