International speaker Michael Bang conducted a corporate training "Customer Service as a Competitive Advantage" for the employees of RACUS organization

As part of the annual professional development activities for the employees of the Group of Russian state universities RACUS, a corporate training "Customer Service as a Competitive Advantage" was held on June 27, 2022. The training was organized by RACUS executives to improve the skills of employees of both central and local offices in 9 cities of Russia, as well as foreign representatives in the view of the start of the admission period for 2022/2023 academic year. The training "Customer Service as a Competitive Advantage" was attended by the representatives from all over the world: Egypt, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Namibia, India, Angola and many others. The training was conducted in English with simultaneous translation into Russian.

During the training, Michael Bang introduced the audience to the Japanese philosophy of "ikigai", a concept implying awareness of one's own destiny. "Ikigai" is also a state of harmony, when a person feels that what they are doing benefits the world and make them happy. Following ikigai principles brings peace of mind and you feel that everything you do has a meaning. The employees also got acquainted with "omotenashi", the philosophy of Japanese hospitality. The word "omotenashi" refers to a special Japanese practice of client service with the purpose to anticipate the customer's desire. We learnt that every time we communicate with applicants and their parents, it is necessary to make every effort so that all those who come to RACUS always feel real care, love and interest. Even if our applicants have decided not to get a higher education in Russia, they will remember that they are always welcome and they feel good here.

Many employees sincerely and openly shared their impressions of being part of the organization, spoke warmly and sincerely about their life's work and discussed the mission and values of RACUS organization.
