On February 25-27, 2024, RACUS Group of Russian State Universities took part in the largest international education exhibition in Egypt (Cairo) EDUGATE – 2024

The exhibition was held at the modern Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski Hotel in Cairo. It brought together the representatives of leading universities from all continents. Among the participating countries were Russia, Germany, France, the USA, the UK, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Malaysia and Turkey. In total, 20 countries were represented at the exhibition. Over 15,000 visitors attended the event in 3 days. 

EDUGATE is not just an exhibition. It is a celebration of learning, growth and the limitless potential of each person. This is the very potential that the RACUS organization is trying to unlock. The bright stand of the Russian representatives drew the attention of a large number of future students and their parents. All of them were attracted by the opportunity to get a prestigious education in the 20 best Russian universities of the RACUS group. Medical, engineering and maritime programs were especially popular.

International student service manager Aiya Bakh spoke about these areas in detail. Her presentation took place at a separate Performance Theater. In her speech, Aiya Bakh put a special emphasis on medical universities: Astrakhan State Medical University, Saratov State Medical University and Saint Petersburg State Chemical Pharmaceutical University. In addition, Aiya Bakh provided details about one of the main maritime technical universities in Russia: the Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland shipping. 

Every year more and more youngsters from Egypt choose Russia as their study destination. A wide selection of 1,200 programs, fundamental universities with 100 years of history, the possibility of studying in English, Russian or French, classrooms and laboratories equipped with the latest equipment, and opportunity to gain practical experience in international companies while studying are the benefits one cannot resist.
